Our History
2009
The Passion Begins
What began as a love for hand fans grew into something bigger. In 2009, after gifting fans from Thailand to friends, I realized others shared the same passion, leading me to sell them on eBay as a hobby—never imagining it would become a full-time business.
2011
Expanding the Vision
As I continued gifting and selling hand fans, I noticed growing interest beyond my close circle. Realizing this was more than just a hobby, I decided to scale up and build on this opportunity. My small side business began to grow, all while I was balancing a full-time career at Hilton Hotels and pursuing my MBA.
2013
Stepping into the Market
By 2013, the business had grown significantly. I expanded beyond eBay and took the plunge onto larger platforms like Amazon, Etsy, and Made Me. My fans were now reaching a wider audience, and what was once a part-time endeavor was beginning to look more like a legitimate business.
2016
Creating Our Own Line
As our brand gained traction, we decided to go further and innovate. In 2016, we launched our own line of hand fans called “Fans of Fans.” This marked a significant milestone in our journey as we moved from reselling ready-made fans to designing and creating our own personalized and custom-made fans.
2019
A Decade of Growth
By 2019, FANSOF.FANS had grown into a global brand, offering five categories of custom-made fans. We had the privilege of working with clients like The Landmark London and Warner Brothers, with our fans becoming a beloved corporate gift for both individuals and businesses.
